Famous Diaspora Scots — Past and Present
Across the globe there are many Diaspora Scots. The United States is home to approximately 5.5 million, Canada has about 4.2 million, England approximately 800,000, and presently residing in Australia are approximately half a million Diaspora Scots. In total it is estimated that there are about 40 million Scottish Diaspora around the world.
Many of these individuals have made significant contributions to their particular fields of expertise, and in doing so have made quite a name for themselves. You will no doubt have heard of some of them.
